OnHub routers will work with the new Google Wifi

05 October 2016
At its grand event yesterday Google unveiled its first own-brand Wi-Fi router, imaginatively named Google Wifi. But Google's dabbled in the router space before, having created two OnHub units - one in partnership with TP-Link, the other with Asus.

As an Onhub owner which has his stored in the basement without any use I will not get the new google wifi without a clear promise that works out of the US.

It was never made clear (until you run into forums) that it has limited support out of the US. I am not talking about complex support just using it in Japan and going to netflix was impossible.

Cool! How will google wifi connect with my ISP though? Through extending wifi network of my existing router?
