I decided to uninstall some unused apps, thats when the phone bricked.

Please beware of the OTA update (Marshmallow) for your Note 4. Samsung OTA Update has managed to brick my Note 4.
When I took it to the Service Centre, their blatant reply was "The OTA update was corrupt, that has affected the motherboard, you need to replace it for INR 14k. Period." My Note 4 is sadly, just out of its warranty period.

I myself have a Note3 I thought it was wrong not to have even got 5.0.1 when the S4 was released approx half a year before and that received 5.0.1, and there's not that that much difference between the Note3 and Note4.
                              😕

AnonD-508301, 06 Oct 2016Will Samsung rollout nougat after 1 year ???Previously, they wouldn't do it (for example, note 3 is stuck with lolipop), but now that their brand name is somewhat tarnished thanks to note 7 fiasco, they might start offering a better after sale service to win back consumer confidence.
