funny how the cell phone size alone has gone from VERY big (huge) to VERY small (I still keep the Samsung E880) back to big now haha.

I know most people like the smaller screens but I prefer the larger ones especially if there is no physical keyboard. The larger screens are just easier to type on in my experience. I have to say this phone sounds like it will be awesome! Can't wait to see it live!

3,5 for 5/3 screens
3,7 for 16/9 screens

At last they are listening, a proper size phone that a man with man hands can use and not need a magnifying glass to see the screen with. Please Acer hurry up and release it but don't do A Dell and only give it 02 Share it with the other networks as well.

from my exp 3.5" at max is optimal screen for mobiles so as the mobile stays below 150gm range also

I just wish that batterty-technology could keep pace with evermore larger displays and faster processors. 1500mAh simply doesnt cut it anymore.

Please make mobile phones and not TV screens. Mobiles phones are meant to be carried on pockets not to be inside a big bag.

Apple is not releasing anything till next june 2011 and it will have 3.7 inch display where iphone 4 is 3.5 inch. However in January 2011 there are rumours of CDMA version of iphone 4 and thats especially for Verizon USA.

The resolution will probably suck on the pixels, why such a big screen is beyond me, and battery time? dont get even started it will probably last half a day max.. soon smartphones will be just as big as apples ipads.

Acer isn't known for making great smartphones. However, I believe this one is going to be priced lower than some of the more popular brand. If it turns out to be not working as well as others, at least acer is making it up abit in bigger screen, higher resolution & better front camera.

At least Acer's screen is made out of glass and not plastic like the one on SE's Crapia X10. Acer actually have 16M colors compared to my Crapia's 64K. And that's after the X10's (outdated) 2.1 update. That's 2.1 folks! It's an Eclair update at a time when Froyo has been out for months.
I will buy anything but Sony. I won't be fooled 2x. I know SE fans will spin it and make things appear like it's a good thing. There are a lot of us, disgruntled customers, who will never buy anything SE after all the promises they made to us and didn't deliver.
I have the X10 and it's now gathering dust and it's crap.

LOL @ the screen size.
Now who things bigger is better? I don't. And Acer's product is known for crappiness and often die withing months.
