Wow, indeed I have not heart of the honor 8 smart but which ever way it is good to target the ordinary people who wish to own honor 8 and can't afford the real deal. May be 2 GB of ram and 16 GB of ROM and single 13 MP back camera. May be reduced chipset of hi-silicon kirin 950 to kirin 650, mali-880 MP4 to mali- 720 MP2. Close to something like that I believe, but they should keep the same design with the dual cameras. That is the uniqueness of this honor 8 phone.

30k seems overpriced. Cant compare with one plus 3 or moto z play except look n feel.

I think, In India they wont taste much success if priced at 29K.
I had to buy a phone and i was looking for either Hono8 or Asus Zenfone3 , which also looks beautiful. but if Honor8 is coming at 29K, i guess i will go for other one.

I may consider honor 8 for Rs 23-25K but Rs 30 K is just too high as there is always a better choice of one plus 3 at 28K.

This phone has the same dual camera setup that is a standout feature.

Yes the One plus 3 has better specs but in the real world you are unlikely to see much difference between the two phones. And lets not forget the One Plus 3 is online only and has less service network and Huawei is accessible to a lot more people.

So 29k in India is a fair price.

I think it will get lot of buyers but only if they release dual sim, high storage versions as dual sim phone is default choice of majority now. Every other company, accept Apple, is offering all of their even high end with dual sim.

                      I hope Huawei is reading.

Don't get your panties in a bunch , people. This is going to be the price , Huawei always prices their phones higher than their Chinese counterparts and that is because they are a large corporation, infact the 3rd largest smartphone seller in the world!

Seems like Honor is following HTC and Sony path of stupid high pricing. But it can't get same respect or loyal fans like HTC and Sony have. You can keep price high but don't forget you are and will always be treated like a cheap Chinese product.
BTW in this price one can get oneplus 3, iphone se, galaxy s6, Xperia x or add some bucks and buy iphone 6s, galaxy s6 edge or buy even worser Chinese phones like xiomi, vevo, blah blah and save half money.

This is gona be huge mistake. Honor was supposed to be launched at around 19k for 3GB/32GB varient. Now if they start at 29K, i think no one will buy this as comparatively much better options are available at 29K. Lets hope, common sense prevails and they launch with some sensible pricing.

I too hope so. Pricing even the 64 gb variant above OP3 woulf be a blunder. I myself wont but it then.
