Samsung is such a large part of the Korean economy, its scary the type of influence they have on the state and the lengths it will go through to help them. The chaebols in general alteady received massive help from the govt. But, I don't expect you to know anything in depth about the real world.

That is like only 30% of the company profit income. Other departments profit are increasing. Samsung be like, "Hell yeah I give no shit bout Note7". They always make enough money to do everything and anything. They already generate 20% of S.Korea GDP. Compare to their rival, Apple that only contribute 0.5% to US GDP. You really think this company can topple down in a day?

Not even a single issue in Canada although they are the exact same model (SD820)? I guess that the new S Pen or the new Grace UX scared the other companies... My guess is Apple. Why not Google? Google makes huge money on Android, and Samsung is the biggest Android supplier. Most of the Samsung flagship users might migrate to Apple because of the premium build and super fast iOS. Also, Apple is already dominating the Canadian market with a bigger market share than Samsung, so this is why they don't bother do any sabotage operation there. Remember: look at who benefits, he is the culprit.
