Report: The 32GB iPhone 7 Plus uses a much slower storage, our tests show

Our recent tests as part of the iPhone 7 Plus review revealed that the 32GB model scores substantially worse in read/write speeds than the bigger storage versions.

    Please do us a favor. Do a comparison of the two devices on Antutu and Geekbench. Let's see if the storage speed has effect with these benchmarks. Thanks!

        Serious question...all numbers aside...in real life...is there a speed difference in opening apps & actual app performance or all you people that bashing Apple just purely looking at the figures & thinking 'Man, I pay a lot of money for my phone, I want the scores to be the fastest ever!!!!'.

                Passmark Write: 81,6 MB/s
                Passmark Read: 730 MB/s

                iPhone 7 Plus, 32 GB
                And I couldn't care less about some stupid benchmarks. The device itself is still a hell of a lot faster than my previously used iPhone 6. The same rule applies to the Huawei P9.

                  I can agree that there can be difference when you doing some hard tasks, but today i tried to make speed test between my iPad pro 12.9 128gb (with 2x faster storage speed than my 7 plus) vs 7 plus 32gb and trust me, there is no difference at all (in opening apps, browsing and so on) :) Both gadgets are fast as hell.
