I forgot to mention, sound! Hi-res sound capable on the 3.5mm jack! Stereo front speakers! MicroSD slot available.
IP68 rating is great in avoiding disasters that could ruin a phone.

I have a Z2 which is like almost now 2.5 years old since i have had it. Hands down. Super awsum build quality. Cant complain a dime. Few cam issues here and there, but works for me as i rely more on using a DSLR for that. I want to now upgrade the phone. Thought of Note7, but with all the battery mess up happening even with replacement units, i think i will give it a pass. I am surely going for XZ based on my past experience with Sony. Exceptionally good build quality, no nonsense bloatware on phone to care about. Super good battery life even after more than 2 years of use. I am happy spending 700$ on device that lasts, rather than a cheap phone with higher specs.

Great phone. Ingenious design, really beautiful, away from the soap design iphone and iphone-copycat brands use. You can even have it standing in the table! Being able to use camera shutter-button is sweet. The display is gorgeous. Features like battery care and auto-memory optimization in the background are extremely valuable in the long run of the daily usage. Xperia UI is light, fast and elegant. Excellent camera for photos and videos, with predictive auto-focus.
I already pre-ordered mine.

Those results are good only on GSMARENA website, in real life, I don't think Sony is going to sell a 100k XZ this time.

this phone is just about quality and long lifetime and great design that attract your eyes after years just like z2 in this days . I havrn't any money to get this at this time but i have for other flagships like mi5 but i wait for earn some money and get the best phones not craps just work for few months and their foolish design power you to get another after few months.

What a peach of a phone wife got one just released on Friday pink one only with o2 in UK going from s7 she loves the Sony OK might not be as great as the king of the smartphone world at present doesn't need to be fantastic build fantastic screen dual speakers fast enough decent price for flagship device better finger print sensor good camera much better os cleaner than heavy touchwiz USB type c and probably won't go on fire well done Sony for sticking to a smartphone with good clean design waterproof fast enough with decent price tag

I'm getting it!
Why?
-It looks a very good and a quality product.
-Pixel is just hideous and utterly expensive.
-Note is blowing up, even the replacement units.
-Not really in iWorld.

Had a hands in with black one. Lovely phone. Shape is comfy in the hand, new body material is quality, the display is incredibly bright and colour accurate. Plus it is blindingly fast. Very tempted if Note 7 is withdrawn.

It's better than what they had last year at least. And before some Sony fan tells me how great it was last year, if that was the case they wouldn't have abandoned 4k after just one phone which used it a small fraction of the time.
Their branding is still confusing though.

It looks completely arbitrary, but I thought the whole point of them rebranding was to make it more streamlined and simple. Like what's the difference between x and xa? What's the difference between x performance and xz? Average consumer isn't going to understand this complicated line up.
