Samsung need to go back to basics, forget about water proofing and the non-removable battery..two big errors they made.

Hard to feel sorry for Samsung. Greed and arrogance led to this.

nkwama, 11 Oct 2016Samsung should put removable battery. I repeat, a battery t... moreAfter the first recall my brother said that Samsung should stop all sales and concentrate on relaunching the Note 7 after or alongside the S8. We had an argument with me supporting Samsung's replacement program. However, his opinion was right. I believe it might have been a technical specification that messed up the batteries and not even Samsung's battery manufacturing division since their Chinese counterpart is being affected with the same mess.

Rip note 7 forget water proofing and insert removable battery and it might bring happiness to sammy

This will not stop me from getting my Note 5, after all its my choice since I want a note without the curved screen.

Put a pen in the S series and stop making Notes.
Its image will remain tainted after this and it became just an S series with a pen anyway.

Plug it in, it catches fire, explodes and shoots the battery across the room.
Auto eject battery, what an innovation. what more could you want!

Samsung should put removable battery. I repeat, a battery that can be removed and re-inserted. This would be easy and cheaper to 'em to replace the damaged units. Otherwise Note Series are best device out there, it is the only Android device can really compete with iPhones. They should re think about re-making Note 7 (no need to rush) and include removable battery. All the Best Samsung Mobile.

Complete disaster. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last Galaxy Note model released.

So everyone hold of on buying your new phones, Samsung will be bringing out the phone we have all wanted at a good price. Only way they can recover the PR nightmare the note has created for them.

The Note 7 is the best phone I've ever owned. It's one of the best pieces of tech as well, but today I returned mine. It's just not worth the risk of having it catch fire in my pocket, car, or worst while using it as an actual phone. There are other great phones out there with more on the way. These people who love iPhones need to realize that us Android users don't want an iPhone. We expect expandable storage, quick charge, wireless charging, AMOLED screens, slim bezels and other features the iPhone doesn't offer. So this isn't a win for Apple because like me most people that turned in their Note 7 will get a Pixel, V20, or the next S8 not an iPhone.

This hurts Samsung financially, and hopefully it'll discourage the masses from buying Galaxy devices. All in all, a good year.
