Simply slap a 4k display and calls it innovation.
Hope S8 have the same ill fated incident as Note7 and this brand goes vanished into thin air

i honnestly doubt they'll realease the bigger model without the Edge and the smaller with it... still dun like the rumours so once they come official i'll evaluate (though it's till next year so who knows)

the iPhone 7's processor management has never been seen anywhere till date - even in windows PCs. very novel and innovative. nobody can refute that.
too bad the OS sucks and the 3.5mm jack is not there.

Does anybody think there will be 3 variants.small 2k screen.5.5 4k screen and a pro version with 5.7 4k edge with spen or am I just dreaming from the loss of my note7?

Michael, 12 Oct 2016I switch to iphone, they lose $2.34 billion in the current ... mores7 is nothing special I have it.
Still I fell phones like s4, s5, note, 3,4 and 2 also are much more durable. Samsung needed a lesson and they got it. I am sure they will be much more careful in the future.

And I hope & it will be better for Samsung to do two other things: 1, to upgrade the front/selfie camera to at least 8MP with OIS, AF & flash & if they want to do something new as well in it, they can make the front video 4K as well. But even more important, it will be the sound, I absolutely hope that Samsung will understand the customers and finally include those Dual Stereo Speakers. It just couldn't be a complete top flagship with a quite mediocre sound (even more in 2017) with all the huge competition, even from the so called "quite small" Chinese companies such as the ZTE (Axon 7, etc), that in fact they are great for the price of just $399 or so. So Samsung must do something about it, otherwise it will keep working against them

Really!!!! 4K display..woow.. but for powering this display with super AMOLED it needs big power house and it should not blast...

Wll.. Its good to hear. But how about the performance? The s7 edge is good but i think we need more speed and power. it wll be gr8 if samsung will improve its own CPU speed and power and consistent performance. And i hope for higher fps on high intensive games just like how smooth iphone 6s in gaming performance.
