Canceled Microsoft Band 3 shows up in leaked images

The Band 2 from 2015 will be Microsoft's last wearable, as the company has recently acknowledged that it won't launch a successor for it this year. That, however, doesn't mean that a Band 3 wasn't in development at some point - before it was canceled this was a real product, undergoing testing and whatnot.

I have the Band 2 and I love it...sure I'm up to my third one due to faults with the first couple, but I'd love to see a Band 3 one day. Even the Microsoft Health app has been updated to be the Microsoft Band app. It makes sense to release these Bands every couple of years...you don't see people buying new watches every year so I reckon hold off, get it right and then release.

      Why did they not release this... the last band was actually good..

        No phones no bands it seems. At least we can expect even more great sensors next year...

          I knew it ! MS wouldn't stop making bands. just can't wait for it :)
