no, not all nead bes spec avaible, but...if you are going to give 450$ for a phone, you will see what alterantives you have.
and this one in that scenario don't have any chanses....even though it is beautiful and equippped just about enough for most of people.

Going to be overpriced, going to be competing with former flagships that will run circles around this. Or maybe even more expensive than phones like the OnePlus 3

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2016You do realize that there are actually more people using sm... moreMy Snapdragon 616 Redmi 3(Resurrection Remix rom does help) still feels quite slow at times. Even when compared to the old Snapdragon 800 in my Nexus 5, which feels a lot faster. I agree with the good battery life(10hrs screen on time!). But performance is borderline acceptable for it to be considered pleasant to use.

Herodroid, 14 Oct 2016android oems MUST STOP making anything worse than snapdrago... moreGood thinking.Or , you get this year's flagship from One Plus with the same price as a midrange phone.

Herodroid, 14 Oct 2016android oems MUST STOP making anything worse than snapdrago... moreYou do realize that there are actually more people using smartphones in the world who don't need the latest snapdragon 8xx and the latest andreno gpu's?

Those are only used by smartphone gamers which is a single digit in percentage in the world.

Just an real world example on users with those type of phones who do not game!

I keep getting complains from users that skype alot using smartphones with snapdragon 8xx (yes even sd820) and they complain how fast the battery burns through a skype call and how hot the phone gets.
I tested those claims with an sd 6xx and sd 8xx even knowing the answer. I have a couple of those around as im an developer. The sd6xx outlasted the 8xx on skype calls by twice the duration.
The snapdragon 820 phone had an 3250mah battery fully charged. The snapdragon 615 phone a 3070mah phone fully charged.

Yes you read correct. A 28nm vs an 14nm cpu.

So if i were to be asked by someone for a phone recommendation thats for his mother who does not play games but everything else works perfectly fine. I will always recommend a 6xx midrange processor over a snapdragon 8xx.

So in terms of cpu/chipset design for a large market (such as china). Oppo made the best and right choice.

Ahong Surahong, 14 Oct 2016Does Oppo phones get routine software updates? If so then I... moreNot really no.

The Chinese version usually gets updates every 2 weeks until a new device comes out.
But the updates for International version are very, very slow...
                    Check community.oppo.com.

By the way, since they locked bootloader for all new devices since 2015, it makes making custom ROMs for their devices close to impossible.

Oppo last few models are not of top notch. The upcoming model is also of lower end ranger with SD625. Looks like Oppo is on the downward trend.
