Verizon begins offering unlimited data, well… kinda, not really

Verizon just announced PopData, which lets you purchase cap-less data sessions for 30 or 60 minutes at a time.

    But well yeah, it is certainly a good deal, also compared to other Danish carriers. And it is MUCH faster that what I can get by ADSL to my PC (no VDSL offered offered in my area), so bought an LTE router.

      my country (Peru) they charge me $40 (a little more actually) for unlimited text and calls but only 3GB of data, they don't even allow us to pay only for the data (since i hardly make calls or text) feel ripped off, i hope times change soon in that regard
      i forgot, they just gace us 5GB more per month untill the end of the year... it's something but price still high T.T

        Verizon will do anything but give the people what they want! Which is true unlimited data w/ tethering at a reasonable price. The technology is allready there. If they do it people will come!

          Well here in Denmark I can get a Free talk, sms and mms + (Almost) Free data (1TB) 4G for a monthly 119DKK (about $18). They advertise it as 8-35 Down and 2-24 Up. In real life I get 35-60 Down and 18-20 Up. (Residing about 1/2 Km from the tower)

                I get unlimited 4G LTE, talk, text, and unlimited tethering at full speeds for only $1.83 a day with T-Mobile. Verizon is ripping everyone off.

                  in my country, I can use unlimited 4G (speed from 8mbps-30mbps) whole month for $20; and yes I can do whatever I want with it.

                        i get around 40gb data on 20dollars on my dongle and unlimited 1mbps data by lan at 30$..damn things are costly in US...but dont complain...we have to buy 6month old tech at double the price here..

                          in the PH, we can get UNLIMITED 4G MOBILE DATA for less than USD 1 for a Whole DAY, that is 24 HOURS...and can use it for tethering... :)
