what is wrong with BB nowadays?
and i dont understand why so many ppl still stuck with BB.. (i know its the BBM services..) but other than that..is totally suxxx
comparison from a BB to another diff BB always just lack of 1 or 2 extra features. just like curve 2g and 3g..bold1 and bold2 nothing much diff..sama ol design..1-2 features which are not highly profile.
and this new upcoming BB only add Wifi capability or maybe O.S 6.. the only thing im impressed with BB is their new Playbook...

Blackberry will soon be number 4 behind Windows 7 if they don't get a better design team in place.

Stop whining about the design. It's functional and effective for its purposes so why mess with something that works? The OS is not tip top but main functionalities are still excellent: calling, email, messaging, corporate services etc. If all you care about in a phone is design, go get a touchscreen and stop whining.
Onto the phone itself, lack of 3G is total bull. This is supposed to be the second-best choice in RIM's classic lineup (Torch and Storm excluded). And same specs running OS 6 might not be the best idea. I've always been partial to the Curve line than Bold, but the 9780 might be a better upgrade.

You're probably failing to realise that this device will be aimed at the enterprise arena too... boring, yes. But functional...? Yes!

God BlackBerry are boring. Same thing for the past 3 years, no change in design. OS is the same, hardware is the same... everything is the same every time.

what is the point of this phone? it will probably retail at what a 9700 costs now, if not more. might as well get a 9700.

wow rim you have such a great design team lets take the bold style and use it on the new curve 8980 really ??? i mean it's bad enough all bbs look the same but seriously get a new design even the sketch i have of what the storm 3 should look like borrows from the iphone 4 but its still looks like a bb with a fresher design btw the keyboard looks weird so ill buy my 9780 instead and its about time BBHD resolution comes out just double your current screen res. even though u need new designers i still like BB 4 life
