so top trending means most hits on specs? or reviews? or both together?? hmm anyway as a person who has used and destroyed many phones..and configured some for my friends...
i'll say that we have reached a saturation point of the spec race..most phones perform at a reasonable level in day to day life..here are some one-liners
iphone: its a style statement. mac users go for it, same for people who prefer music to movies. ibooks is awesome, file system is bad, just bad
pixel: meh, nexus did it better, but if you must get the latest update on a good phone(sorry moto g) get this
sony: good looks, inside and out..depending on whom you are asking. glass bit on the fragile part,
zenfone 3 series: cheap flagship with huge specs, best use as an interim flagship for someone who broke a 1 grand flagship
samsung: poor note, we'll miss you..s7 edge, not useful as advertised but movie buffs will love the infinity edge, touchwiz is not that bad now
lg:good phones, not awesome..swappable battery present if that a must(but can't you just charge a huge portable charger instead?)
oneplus:was a huge fan of the oneplusone..not used it since..you cannot go wrong here at the price point
oppo/other chinese: same as oneplus
