In Huawei phones the biggest turn-off for me is the company's name which is also being awkwardly spelled 'in your face' right on surface of the phone itself. I have nothing against the Chinese or the Chinese language, but some of their words just sound too plainly bad for foreigners. It's bad enough that they are starting to teach us how to pronounce this word properly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euwLuAW2SNI .
Now, I understand the Chinese are pround people and they like this Huawei brand name which evidenlty stands for "Chinese achievement" or something similar, but if they want to make a stake in the foreign market they might be better off coming up with some rebranding.

In the past people hated Huawei just because it is a Chinese brand, but today those same people are praising the good work done by the company and are the same as end up purchasing their products, reference is in the market and the quality of their equipment. The Chinese have shown that it does not take a team of high-end $ 800, with $ 400 you can buy a good high-end terminal that will last four to five years.

I h... moreMate, you had no idea, if you dont use Huawei Phones. I ditched Samsung when S5 were launched. I used to have S, S2, and S4.
Since then, I went for Huawei, Honor 6, Honor 7 and now, Honor 8.
Samsung cant give me the satisfactions like Huawei does.

I have seen one Huawei phone so far, which was bought by a friend who was living abroad.
How come they reached such a number? I think the Chinese are buying their phones like crazy...

My point is phones may be becoming single use (except of course for Apple)
At the end of 2 years a phone in pristine condition
Try to sell it and you get insane low offers. mid range phone all phones ( except of course for Apple) are being released with better specs as standard e.g 5Mp selfie camera

the truth, huawei its a good brand but sadly huawei always lose to ASUS brand here due higher price like samsung for example, Zenfone 3 VS Huawei P9 Lite. still Zenfone 3 Win.

Hope they continue to come out with great products and become available in more parts of the world. Been a happy user of the Mate 8 for 6 months now. Totally lag free, unlike my previous 3 Samsung devices which started to lag horribly after 6 months.

Oh my friend, still using P2 of huawei phone? oh just upgrade to P9 and you will feel the wonders of huawei and you will give the P2 out immediately hahahaa!!! Honor 8 too is a great masterpiece... As for sales they have to get about 120 million phone sold before the year ends. The affordable Mate 9 will add a great deal to this before 1 January 2017.

Congrats to Huawei. Well deserved. They've been putting out really good devices since P8. And applause for the best screen to body ratio. Mate series just wipes the floor with every other brands in this aspect.
