The Note 7's discontinuation could well be the S8's biggest boost. Samsung's rep has been damaged and they won't like that one little bit. They will pull out all the stops with the S8 and improve upon the mighty S7.

[deleted post]If they find the mole who leaked their source code to the Americans , then they can stop people sending a few doctored phones into prominent places to burn whilst charging is blamed and the fire damage stops the phone from providing the evidence, then paid Pr guys like you might get a holiday, The release timing of two other brands of phones might give people a hint why that incomparable phone had to be sabotaged. Conspiracy theory, well no, nò no one would call S Jobs paranoid, he would only allow 4 people into a certain room, what reasoning was behind not trusting even his own longterm staff in his own main office, only a theif is properly set to catch a theif, and only a theif knows how to resist one.

Samsung -> When you want a modest phone (when it doesnt explode), but you want to receive the same treatment as if you were buying from a chinese exclusive seller, so we wont give you meaningful support, terrible warranty and even worst repair services, deliver your new 899€ phone in a retail box that has gone trough hell and came back and when you use your phone, youll think to yourself, how can a friggin 800€+ phone even show a single sign of performance slowdowns o-o!? I dont think TouchWiz will ever work until Samsung crams a mobile version of the Intel Core I7 6800K or if needed the I7 6900K. Heck, just dont go AMD style with the CPU and maybe even cram a Xeon PHI in that thing so it doesnt lagg as stastic.
LG support might be worse or similar, but South Korean major mobile companies innovate, innovate and only offer good support in theyr homecountry. Here in Europe, Samsung costumers are treated like absolute trash, so excuse me for saying the truth, but fk those a-Samsung holes. Someone should go into a Samsung store and break 25 S7's aswell, to show them a lesson -.-
