South Korea launches its own probe into Galaxy Note7 fire incidents

The state-run Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL), which has already received a total of 5 faulty Galaxy Note7 units from Samsung, is investigating the issue.

First off, A company like Samsung wont never commit a mistake like this in which the phones are catching Fire while and without charging, It looks like somewhere or someone has played a Foul play, and this goes back to the manufacturing units in which these Handsets were designed. As, everyone knows that most of the phone's are manufactured in China and to blame it all and having said that China is also known for its Fake products. May be, some one has played a Big Game in getting the Reputation of the company down. Its not that all the Handsets are catching Fire, its only some and as said earlier I reckon its a Foul play by someone who might have sneaked the faulty Chips with the Good One.

Samsung needs to go back to the manufacturing units and understand what has made this happen as everyone knows and understands that Samsung has never been a Company with this kind of Issue in the past as far I know.

        I am keeping my Note 7 for now, I have had no problems and cant find a phone to replace it with that I like

              They all will find nothing.
              There is nothing wrong with the replacement Note7(not sure about the first one ether)

              All of them investigators should concentrate to find out, how the scam was done. It could be that not all the owners did it, but somebody else connect something in their phones while unattended for a moment.

                AnonD-257034, 17 Oct 2016Don't forget the worst support in the industry and bootloops.The V20 hasn't been out yet, so plz wait until it gets to your hands or to the hands of the customers, than you can evaluate if it has worst support or bootloop.
                As for the design, its a personal opinion, so it differs from a person to another.Personally i like the design, even if i like the V10's design more.
                Anyway,if you don't like the design, there are bilions of different designs in the market, so pick the one that you like.

                  I think there was nothing wrong with the research or development, it could be that some metallic particles were left near the battery pins which caused batteries to short.

                  It has happened with many batteries before, including nokia BL5C

                    Samsung showroom(UAE) is not refunding for note7... they forcing to exchange with s7. How can they force? I have already s7 and now a days its going cheaper and less valuable mobile. And what will i do with 2 s7 and even i cant sell as its now cheaper. Even how can they force to choose mobile for exchange. Bloody shit!!!
                    If they do like that then i will never buy any samsung mobile.

                                  Its is really difficult to find a problem where there's no problem at all. The problem here is, corruption and sabotage. How come as soon as Samsung discontinued the Note7, all of the sudden all the explosion stopped? It is obvious that at least they should have continued the explosion pattern until all note 7 are completed off users hand.

                                    ELECTRONICS - wires -filaments -printed boards circuits - heat up when electrons /current- passes through -- higher the resistance more the heating -like light bulb .. also filaments wires need better insulation -example insulations on electric wires ..
                                    in usa - sometimes high temps contribute to overheatig of devices ..hence devices need to be TROPICALISED- to allow for expansion of metal components -wires .. most reported cases of note 7 overheating catching fires have been reported from usa ..but then even most expensive imported cars defects get highlighted in usa because of LAWSUITS ..because even in usa govt authorities are only REACTIVE when accisents incidences happen -NOT PROACTIVE-CONSUMERS SAFETY ISSUES ..we may never know the science why galaxy note 7 exploded -caught fires etc ..QUALITY of materials used and workmanships and designs are VITAL .. we hope lessons from samsung note 77 investigations shall be fully made public WITHOUT APPLE going GA GA BLA BLA ..FOR FUTURE SAFETY ..
