Let me understand. So, some phones blew up. Samsung did a recall. Some people fake a fire in order to sue Samsung.

Now, a well known apple-connected news leaker based in the America where Donald Clown and Hillary Corruption are fighting to be the next world leader concludes that since Samsung wants 2.5 million Note 7s back, therefore, 6 million Samsung users will drop Samsung and go to Apple.

We shall ignore the fact that the majority of the Note 7 users are NOT Americans, the Americans are the people to laugh at Samsung for coming out with a phone that "big".

Sounds legit. Perfectly logical to me.
Now, let me go back study for my kindergarten graduation class.

I glad im not part of those 5-7 million switching to iPhone. I don't know where get those statistics from. I hate how the media come up with bs just to gather internet traffic.

That's a bit silly. I'd say majority would shift to the s7 edge. At most around 30% would switch to iPhone imo. With 20-30% looking for another android offering, namely lg or google.

If I could buy Note7 now I would still buy it even knowing there is potential for it to catch fire. It is still the best phone in this Galaxy. As for alternatives I don't think there is any, but S7 edge and Note5 are the closest possible options. iPhones are junk and has no chances... yes some undecided meat will switch to them, but that won't be 5-7 millions. Don't forget Note was always "prosumer" phone (people who actually understand what they are buying) and no apple products even remotely represents that.

You say that "DisplayMate always finds Samsung has the highest color accuracy," but it can't be "always," can it, since right now they say the the iPhone 7 has the highest color accuracy they have ever measured....

I have the S7 Edge and it's a very good phone. I just think that people like you slam the iPhone 7 without much thought or knowledge.

The iPhone 7 Plus right now is a better phone than the S7 Edge, in my opinion, so I am getting one. If you love your Samsung, keep it. But don't spew nonsense about another phone just because you have become religious over a device.

How does the iPhone 7 series with a max 401 dpi on the 7plus be better than Samsung S7 edge 537dpi or S7 577dpi?

You talk rubbish from a magazine called wired?? You must be an idiot! Magazines need advertising to make there money and also have to suck up to companies like apple for early devices for there previews for there magazine review the month before said phone is released.

Magazines will always be impartial! I buy a phone on the basis of specifications, Power,Durability not because some bias reviewer in a biased magazine tells me a load of crap because his wages depend on it!

Ultimately it makes you sir look like a sheep!

The S7 and Note 7 had the highest accuracy when released, beating the iPhone 6 and 6s. The S8 will predictably take the lead again in a few months.

From Wired: "the iPhone 7 has the highest absolute color accurace of any display of any kind measured by DisplayMate, meaning it beats out even high-end HDTVs and monitors." Color accuracy is more important to me than unseen resolution.

BTW, I have a an S7 Edge as my daily driver, very soon to be replaced by the iPhone 7 Plus. Which will then be replaced by something else, that I feel is better or more interesting.

And VR is this important to you, really....? Maybe in a few years. And yes, I did get the "free" Samsung Gear VR they were throwing in with the S7 Edge. Haven't donned it on it in six months.

                          Cheers.

I highly doubt this. Most will get a Note 5 or S7 edge. It's a given that the S7 edge and Note 7 were the 2 best phones of the year. Plus a lot of Samsung owners are very loyal.

Me? You'll have to pry my Note 7 from my hands, thank you very much.

I switched to an S7 Edge. It's the closest thing to a Note without an S-Pen.

I call BS on this "survey." Most everyone I know who had a Note 7 are refusing to give it up because they love it so much, or are going with the S7 Edge like me. The rest are getting an LG V20 or decided to get the S8 or Note 8 when it comes out.
