people do use laptops for gaming...my brother uses an alienware..its a beast..its got a 200watt power brick too and weighs a tonne....
in comparison my custom build cost half as much uses ancient components and still runs good games...
so ya thats may be wat herodroid wanted to point out...and talking about macs...i mean i get that people are drawn to the looks, and it makes sense to buy into a single environment, with ipad iphone ipod, etc..but windows pc are awesome when it comes to gaming..mac books are..whats the word...cute..

these gpu use samsung 14nm which is inferior than tsmc 16nm for 1060, 1070 & 1080
both will clock lower than their brothers

14nm ain't good for doing fractals, cos it's very good at Network-ing, or you can bat(not batman) on your own risk.

Nvidia slide show pit these latest gpu against ancient GTX 650 because it has no real improvement against earlier generation.. benchmark shown that GTX1050 just tiny bit faster than GTX950 while GTX1050 also slightly faster than GTX960. the only real advantage is 75w TDP. RX 460 also as bad as these gpu. low-end user got no love nowdays. 470 and 1060 looks much better

Macs aren't made for gaming, that's why they use lower end GPUs than a windows PC on that price, but have a better CPU and macOS is years ahead in terms of stability and performance compared to Windows. Sorry that u bought an expensive windows machine with good specs which doesn't work properly, but that doesn't mean you have to be aggressive to people using Computers that work.

TSMC is on 16nm node. So, current Pascal line up are all on 16nm fabrication.
It is AMD Polaris which is on GloFo 14nm FinFet.
