add water resistance or even splash resistance and it'd be the perfect phone. but at this price range and the features on offer already, couldn't really complain.

Ah after Iphone now you started copying Note 7.Iris scanner ? Dual cameras ? Looks like an Iphone 7 plus/Note 7 rip off.The price isn't low nor high tbh,it's quite decent for a phone that's copying others.
Now i'll have to see what this phone has to offer and if's up to the real flagships.Such as:Ram management, optimizing their SD 821,bringing good amount of features for their phones and a camera worthy of the pixels (we all know most of their phones camera pixels are half worth) and doesn't have an exploding battery hahaha.
And don't forget all the fast updates most flagships offer.
And don't forget to cool your phones, after Xiaomi mi 5 burning like a microwave, cracking like a bisquit,no matter what price no thanks.

I would buy it if it wasn't of unpredictable software update policy.

a "global" edition will supposedly have LTE-FDD bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30. Looks like this would work on T-Mobile if true.

Has anyone else confirmed this?

AnonD-410826, 20 Oct 2016R u nuts ??? Name a company that provides all these specs a... moreI can't...Doesn't mean all these phones are worth buying. I bought a $180 exactly because of non-removable batteries. Crippling "flagships" shouldn't be the way to make more money and less people should buy them.

wow great specs. but ya its still xiaomi. still just focusing china and indian market. (even in indian market xiaomi cant has a fully ambition like release Mi5 64GB ver) and BM guarantee to other markets. its means xiaomi still cant be better from other smartphone brands.

For chinese products if they want to sell internationally, they should make it in international firmware out of the box. And remove the chinese firmware.
