Samsung uses DMCA takedown notice to remove GTA V Note7 parody video
20 October 2016
Back when the Note7 fiasco was in full swing, YouTube user HitmanNiko uploaded a video of his GTA V mod, where he modified one of the explosives in the game to look like the Note7. The video did get quite popular on the internet and several others like it were later uploaded.

Samsung definitely brought more attention to themselves, it's been quite a while since I first saw this video and now they made me recall it so I'll have to watch it again in order to enjoy a good laugh.

This is actually illegal practice.
The DCMA takedowns may not be used for removing satirical content.
I wonder if Samsung will get this back to some degree.
