You cant say the king of mobile OS as MEEMO..its just released on trial basis for N900.No mobile OS can stand in front of big daddy Andy(android) it really rocks.But wat evr u say whether the symbian is updated or outdated..in any time symbian sucksssss...

u will have pain in ur eye´s if ur phone run SYMBIAN with screen resolution 360 x 640 pixels , while android is 480x854 like a mirror .
u will feel like a OLD man if ur phone is so slowly with 680 MHz processor and 256 RAM . but if ur phone run android u will feel like superman , processor will be 1.2Ghz 768 RAM
u will feel like u are not strong enough when ur phone battery is only 1200 mAh . while ANDROID phones have battery 1500 mAh .
u will feel that ur house is without TV & bath if u have SYMBIAN phone . while with ANDROID so many APPS u will feel like u have 100 house´s . haha rent some .
u understand ? NO cause u are Nokia OLD-FASHION Fans .

This really shows how ignorant you are. In the consumers world, no one cares about Functionality or Power. It's all about the Apps and The Looks.
MeeGo looks pretty nice,but still lacks the easiness of iOS or Android.
Also, it is just starting up, and there will only be about 1000 apps online, if any. This against The Millions of Apps found in iOS and the Hundred Thousands in Android. (Number may be exaggerated).
Now listen though. I am one of those people like you who prefer functionality and I am a power user. BUT, I have never tried to delude myself as to thinking that Ease of Use and Apps hold no value in the market. And besides, now Android has the Same amount of funcitonality as Symbian, and most definitely MeeGo.
So don't be so ignorant.
MeeGo will likely be good for power users, but it will never really take over the Mobile OS market.

i've been using nokia handsets since 2006 lol
they've all been reliable to me and i've had no problem with them
i've managed to do alot with symbian and still continue to do so
i'm a damn ex security guard
i just like nokia every other phone i've had was ass except for the nokia XD

And as seen before with pretty much every Nokia that has symbian S60 or an evolution of it, software updates do not help! Nokias are inherently faulty!

All of this symbian vs android vs blah is just dumb and nothing to do with thread, tho I will say my 2 pence. I work for a UK mobile company and by far the phones with the most amount of software and hardware issues are Nokias. Was happy for the n8 as seemed a good phone but been disappointed yet again by Nokia as most of the n8s have been returned due to... lo and behold, buggy, poor software. This isn't a bitch, just fact.
