I've used it for a couple of minutes in the shop and it looks good. I'd love to see 5X or Pixel in person (in a shop) but neither is freely available in my country. Unlike Xiaomi and Meizu products - there's a large gadget shop that sells almost all their models at reasonable prices. Nexus 5X costs here almost 2 times more than in US, so I guess Google Pixel will be more expensive than iPhone 7 Plus (and Pixel XL will be ridiculously priced).
And I don't really like Pixel's design :/
As for updates: I'll be happy with any updates, but I'm not after new android versions - my LG G2 is perfectly fine with KitKat.

Only reason anyone would even consider this mobile is because Note 7 is not available, iPhone 7 or 7 Plus is slightly expensive. I am not seeing any great advantage over Nexus 6P infact, screen size is reduced with its navigation bar cropping the display (5.5 inches reduced further)....Camera same though Pixel has better Hardware and 1 GB RAM more

One thing on earth is consistent is change and thank goodness sometimes. Good on Google. They are so innovative in our daily lives and happy to see their beautiful premium device.

This is BS. I just got a notification this morning that my Google
Pixel has shipped. Should be here by Monday. The store may Have sold out of intial stock because it was selling so well.
