Android 7.0 Nougat update starts hitting Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus

The announcement regarding the update has been made by Motorola on its India website.

I updated moto g4 plus to naught. After updating most of the online shopping applications are not working properly it will stuck in payment page. I am not able to make any payment through my phone after upgrading to naught. Is any one facing same issue. Can any one help..

      After I have updated my g4 plus to android 7.0 the battery is draining really fast. It used to work really well with Marshmellow.
      Also the fingerprint sensor takes a lot of time to on the screen i.e. the response time of my phone has increased. Sometimes the screen stays black while an incoming call and hence the call is missed.Apps are also not updating from Play store.
      Not at all happy with the Nougat update. I wish I could roll back the update. I hope that the patches for recovery and improvement will be soon available from Motorola
      My phone was an ideal one for me before the update and now I am so disappointed

        After update marshmallow7.0 my cell charging is very bad. Previous marshmallow 6.0.1 my cell charging 1day. Now my cell charging 6hrs only. Pls tell me how to solve this problem. I am very suffering this problem.

                  Hi.. i have been using jio sim in g4 plus for the last two months. But after nougat update g4 plus is not supporting Volte. It only shows LTE and hence not able to make calls. Anybody else facing the same issue?

                    I updated my moto g 4 to naugat 7.0

                    What i see?

                    1. All Application size is reduced including google play store and google play services.( around 130 mb for google play services and 28 mb for google play store).

                    2. Phone is working fine no lags, no heating issue, no freezing , no app crash , no battery draining issue ,it works just same as in marshmallow.
                    3. I found one problem in network setting if you are using one sim it only shows 3g and 4g network. 2G network is gone.
                    4. Internet is not working on the updated version 7.0. I f you are using mobile data plan it always shows an exclamation mark . I AM NOT ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET USING THE MOBILE CONNECTION.

                      I updated my moto g4 plus 2 days back... Since then the battery drains superfast... Worst thing is after update power charging is not working... Can anyone help

                          Thanks to gsmarena I've decided NOT to update my Moto G4 to Nougat. I'll wait for 7.1.1, because Marshmallows works fine and never touch a running system.

                              I wish i had visited this page before the update. After upgrading my os, the ram is clogged upto 1gb. Basically my 3gb ram is just 2gb now. Alongside is the battery drain. My previous phone had a similar issue and when i took it to the service centre, they fixed it. So i guess calling up customer care is one solution. Degrading the os is one legit option.
