Btw, my cousins have Lumia 540, and NO, he can't do what I said before either. The only good things that he get is WP 8.1 Denim, that's all.
and now WP is a sinking ship, even being abandoned by its captain, MS.
Good luck on using ur HIGHLY PRICED WP, anon. I hope urs won't get damaged soon, since MS have washed their hands of the after-sales of ALL Lumia phones!

I believe you come to conclusion about windows phone based on 4 year old os(WP8). Still taking about file manager and installing app to SD card OMG where do you live.

Can ur lovely Scumia edit photo & video directly after u shoot them?
I know ALL the answer is NO, because I also have WP device, Huawei Ascend w1 which is no better than any Java-powered FEATURE PHONE. I have tried tosearch any soft that can fix few WP OS in competencies, but found NONE!
Heck, even my old Nokia 5610XM can install apps directly from microSD & do all file management thing with ease!

I live in India where people mostly budget concise and expect more from the money. I have used two Android phone and 1 windows phone. Between preference I have most of the local apps(luckly) in windows phone and I do have all the required app. So for budget phone i will definitely go for windows phone as I would get more than what i paid since android budget phone really suck after 3-6 month of usage. But for premium phone I prefer Android.

How many app do you really need. I can agree with the fact windows phone store lack behind app upgrade and feature available in andriod and IOS. Dont count on number of app just tell windows apps lack quality.

Others will Definitly try Windows OS......... Even in india many companies like sony, LG, HTC And Cheapest Micromax Losing the market very hugely......... This phone may be not come to india but in europe, america, australia peoples will buy it :)

Does the app on the normal windows platform run on a phone or a tablet with a RISC instruction from which the instructions in the software is programmed on a CISC instruction?
Does your MS appstore have millions of mobile apps available for download?

More power means a better experience. Trust the ones saying that w mobile 10 is smooth. Yes, the problem remains the QUANTITY of the store, lack of desire of the developers.

IF windows phone is really as SMOOTH as u said with SD400 & 1GB RAM, why MS would bother using better & newer chipset & bigger RAM for their already SMOOTH phone?
IF SMOOTH is what it makes people choose a smartphone, why not use the old Symbian?
Symbian is SMOOTHER than ANY WP, with BIGGER apps support for Symbian to boost.
The answer is: WP only have SMOOTHNESS. They don't even bother to offer Windows upgrade for other brands that use WP OS because Lumia sales will plummet if they do that, as the only GOOD Lumia phones are the expensive ones, cheap one SUCKS.
I can say this BECAUSE I have WP-powered phone, Huawei Ascend W1, with WP 8 and NO UPGRADE whatsoever from MS to WP 8.1, let alone WP10, albeit it has decent specs BETTER than ALL cheap Nokia Lumias which get WP 8.1 upgrade.
Now, look at Android-powered smartphone.
With the same amount of money to buy Lumia 950, for example, u get MANY brands which offer flagship features with flagship-grade specs more than what MS can offer.
In this case, Alcatel (TCL) plan to STILL make Idol 4s WP variant is REALLY absurd, as WP is already a sinking ship, even if they did release Surface phone, which won't sell too.
TCL, why don't u ditch MS and use webOS as alternative OS like Samsung did with Tizen?
webOS is another OS that use Linux kernel, just like Android. So if u can rebuild webOS to be as good as Android, added with webOS own apps store & Android apps compatible, u might hit a jackpot!
