After discontinuing note 7,,,, mate 9 will be the upcoming monster it may make me leave samsung and choose huawei mate 9

They are probably going to use a QHD panel for the "Long Island" version. The mysterious small hole on the top next to the headphone jack might be for an IR blaster. And regardless of the screen resolution, Mali G-71 will most probably be powerful enough for 4k video recording. Overall it looks like it's going to be a pretty compelling phablet.
