I don't understand this Nigeria comment. People here in the western world think that people in other countries don't have money.

For example, do you know what country in world is the biggest buyers of luxury private jet planes? What country has the most amount Bentleys and Aston Martins? Can you guess?

        it's India.

India has like 23 billionaires on the Forbes list alone. Indian businessmen own companies like American Airlines, Sun Microsystems and so on. Indian buisness men own over 40% of the American Corporate Structure.

And on top of the billionaires, there are over 100.000 people in India that are dollar millionaires.

So please stop your western nonsense. Although i live in Sweden i am not blind to this.

As for the Nigeria comment, recently it's been published to public outcry that Nigerian senators, just the senators, make (and I mean officially get paid) $ 1.5 million a year. Yes, US dollars. And that is on top of the money those bastards already embezzle. There are hundreds of senators in Nigeria so ofcourse ridiculous things like this would be made available there. They have the money to buy it.

Those kinda people buy limited special edition phones from like Cartier, Rado, GoldVich and Tag Heuer.

On a serious note, this has been marketed towards a very select audience.

For 99.99% of us, we're on low/average/high salaries but there are a few that are a world away that earn millions annually. Think about the worlds rich list - there are quite a few people who are billionaires.

When you have all that money, then money is no longer an issue to you.

If you were a Saudi Prince wanting to impress your peers, would you go for a £500 iPhone that the chavvy kid down the street has (not that there are chavvy kids in Saudi, altho they must have an equivalent). Money is no object. You want to impress. You want to be different. So why not go for a 15k iPhone? What's 15k when your bank balance shows a figure of a healthy 10million+ pounds/dollars/etc?

There will always be items like this and to put them up on a site like gsmarena which is viewed almost entirely by the layperson (just like me and you) would spark a little outrage. But then again, having us argue and bicker over who's got the latest iPhone or SEM or HTC phone that costs £400-500 would seem outrageous to someone who lives in a third world country and is striving on a daily basis to meet basic requirements of food and water, with each day being a fight for survival. They would be as shocked at our lifestyle as you would be about the lifestyle of the buyers of this device.

Bottom line: This phone is not aimed at you and me. So the manufacturer cares diddly squat for your or my opinion.
