I am talking about the 90% population probably and you're talking about the remaining 10% and you're rightly proving your ignorance by saying "Because it doesn't lag or is more stable"... for your info, ios 10 has a app crash rate of around 4% but maker like Sony has a crash rate of 0.8%.. (Yes some companies has higher crash rate than 4%).. so keep your stability argument to yourself! and probably you haven't used any top tier android phone either since Lags are nowhere near them! they run flawless!
and for your info,I have a Xperia Z ultra.. Yes I accept its a gigantic phone but running it since 2 and a half year and even though I am a extremely hardcore user I'll have to say it's still running solid and strong and it can put 3 generation old iPhone to shame!

In case of India.. people buy it only to show off, since here, you anyways don't go on a contract or something with your carrier and you have to pay full price upfront, secondly, owning a iPhone is only beneficiary if you mostly work in ios ecosystem and your social friends too have ios devices and only then you can make it the most productive! you literally have to carry your charger everywhere you go if u have an iPhone.. because everywhere else, you will only find standard USB charger!
other than that, Many of my friends have shown interest in buying an iPhone and when I questioned them why do u want to buy an iPhone? their only answer was "Hey it has an apple logo, so it will look cool"... they don't care about using the iPhone, they only want to show off in front of others! (And MOST of the people buy iPhones for the same reason, just go around and ask)

I really doubt samsung would lose their market share. In India people buying iPhone or pixel will be very less and the only premium phones left to buy will be from Samsung
