That's why you stay away from social networks apps, those are the worst ones, and you put tons of personal data in those. Just do it on the website if you have to.

                            It's not the end of the world, just do this;

                            1. Buy and android phone, preferably one with lots of developer support
                            2. Root it
                            3. Flash custom AOSP ROM
                            4. Flash Xposed Installer & install it's apk
                            5. Download XPrivacy from Xposed repository, and configure each app you're going to install afterwards to your privacy liking
                            6. Download Tor & Torrify all apps
                            7. Congratulations, you now have absolute granular control under your fingertips. You can also download adblocks if you want to, just not "adblock plus"

It would have been awesome if it was still around! With updated specs and bigger screens, etc, it would have surely been a viable option. Especially if we could side load apps from the play store.

Symbian operating system was truly ahead of it's time.

So advanced. Compare features from my 2010 Nokia N8 or my Nokia 808 to today's 2016 smartphones.

Now are the operating systems in the world are made by the US. Google, garbage iPhone, and nonexistent Windows Mobile. How many years til we find out there was a backdoor in these US owned systems that had a backdoor in which they could record your voice or activate your camera, without you even knowing?

There is no more camera lens covers, they can see.
There are two mics, they can hear.
                                    Etc

I give it ten to fifteen years til someone spills the beans on how we are all monitored at all times without even knowing...

But yeah, all the billions of brain dead mindless people that have Android and Apple, just focus on your waste of time social media and useless time consuming apps... Wake up people!

It's truly unfortunate that the mobile phones that are available worldwide, include symbian.
No ads, no phishing, no location tracking, etc. It was a safe operating system. No backdoors, etc.
I still love and use my Nokia 808 as my daily driver but use some Android phones to surf the web, etc.

People are given only two choices, Apple or Android. (Windows phone is invisible, has been invisible, and is an utter joke. No one cares for it, no one likes it, no one has any interest in seeing it survive, especially after what Microsoft did to Nokia)

Having a feature phone is incredible. For people that have lives and actual stuff to do, it's awesome. We don't need brain dead social media apps to kill our time and yearn for feedback from mindless people cuz we posted something cute. We don't needs meaningless apps, cuz they are mostly built-in into the phones architecture.

Social media and nonsense useless apps really degraded society as a whole.
All in the name of marketing and click bait. People click on ads, money comes in. Such nonsense! A feature phone with a decent camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth is all a person needs.

Twitter Snapchat Instagram Facebook Vine etc, who cares?! Go educate yourself, make money, invest your time wisely.

Say no to distractions like social media.
                                      Seriously!
