Where is it? A Galaxy tab a with spen was indeed released late October, is has a 1024*768 screen, 2Go Ram and a 1,2Ghz processor. The tablet you are talking about is nowhere to be found.

If Samsung's smart they'll give the base model a standard 256GB SSD drive, 4GB-8GB of RAM, high-end Intel chips, Wacom stylus and possibly real nVidia graphics.

A 10.1 inch or even 9.8 inch Windows 10 tablet, Hi-res, with full stylus and docking keyboard, in the $385 to $475 range, could really be competitive, especially with the upper end Chinese tablets.

If Samsung released a Windows 10 version with S Pen support it would certainly raise a few eyebrows.

Please educate yourself, Apple Pencil offers one of the best sensitivity, minimal pressure threshold, precision including in extreme edges / corners and lowest lag. It compares very well even to the highest end standalone drawing pads from Wacom. And it's better than what's in almost any tablet (Surface, Samsung, Lenovo) despite them having decent Wacom, N-Trig or S-pen digitizers.

I have a Note 10.1 2014 model that would runs rings around this unit and it is 2+ years old!
Samsung hasn't really done anything innovative in tablets the last couple years because I think people are moving more toward 2 in 1 units.
Now if they came out with a Windows 10-based tablet this size, with 128GB or more of storage, say 4GB RAM, a better, full-sized stylus, and have a high-res screen, they might actually get some sales stolen from Apple.

Samsung should make a premium pen tablet. This one is okay, but it's not an iPad Pro. Yeah it is cheaper, but if they make a good tablet, they will be willing to give money.
