I'm on iOS 10.1 beta 5 so I assume this is the same because I didn't get any update. It works quite well actually for a beta feature. Not very useful for my needs but nice to have

If you want to take beautiful shots and videos, Lumia phones are the only way to go. Everything else is subpar.

What's so special in it..!
My almost three years old Microsoft 640XL takes live shots since day one;
When apple did it , people were so curious,happy & appreciated;
I simply don't understand.

It's crazy to think that you need a system wide, number bump, 200mb firmware upgrade to give a camera mode and Japan transit directions ...
This is why you can not compare android and apple software updates. On android you'd get a 15mb camera mode app update and a small, probably even just a back end, update to Google maps.

On the other hand, in landscape photography the whole frame remains all in focus all the time. No bokeh there.

But during day time in s... moreShine in what? Your display is 2mp(iphone plus models, otherwise 1mp) or 3.7mp(QHD androids, otherwise 2mp). 12mp is an overkill for any screen. A 2x digital zoom on a 12mp camera would still produce a 3mp image(2x vertical x 2x horizontal = 4x multiplier).
I'd rather have a 12mp 1/2.4" sensor, over a 24mp same sized one any day. And as a result would get better images in more conditions, unlike a larger res sensor, that excels only in perfect sunlight at ISO 100.
