lack of QHD screen is a deal breaker for me. On 5.2 inches maybe it's not that noticeable, but on 5.7 inch FHD will be super pixelated.

This is a copy though, it should have been a diamond cut frame the same as Mi5 with their normal minimalistic antenna lines and centred air piece. Seems like you didn't notice but those Apple'esk antenna lines and frame are already on the Samsung Note 7 etc.
Also check out the Mi MIX, it's very original.

Xiaomi was the first to experiment dual curved back with the Xiaomi mi note. That was copied by Samsung for Note 5.

The Mi5 had great expectations then turned out it was a weak quality phone. Make this one tough Xiaomi, the specs are great but if the phone breaks like a crisp because of its weak build quality then HELL NOO !

Samsung will now be getting more Chinese phone produces copying there phones.so this might be better for consumers as Samsung will now make there Edge screens more harder for others to make the same,Will definetly can wait to see and read of Full review of this phone to see if it can live up to what it as to offer,Pricing might be cheaper than Samsung Edge phones and this might also make Samsung get down the pricing of there Edge phones,or the Note 7 saga could really hit Samsung
