I wish xiaomi would quit all this BS polls and flash sales and start selling HPs.
They have lost market share to Huawei, OPPO and Vivo cos the above are actually available for sale.
Just sell the MI and the Note 2, etc

Yes I am aware there is more than just Facebook and Google out there, that is the whole point!
There is only one reply to your claim that they don't have the installed capability to process that information: go look at scientific papers that have real results with much less data (and hardware) than any of those major companies.

Like, its just collecting the data of where you go, when you go online, what device you use and how much time, interests you have on theyr platforms. Listening to microphones from Facebook is just not something that happens. Same applies for webcams. Its a waste of resources and totally non viable for them in any way. Unless you give them a small loan of a trillion dollars that is.

Only once did Sony released a phone with minimal bezels (ZL) but it was still far fatter than this phone and had more bezels. It also had horrible camera, screen quality was of the worse I have seen in a flagship (not even an IPS) and removed a ll support from it early on. No wonder it failed, then again all Sony phones fail, so it's a bad point of reference.

1440p gives horrible performance for minimal gains in picture quality. 364PPI is reaaally good, plus it performs much better.

It has a horrible size and 1080p is totally inadequate on it. As gsmarena pointed out, its bezels are a lot less small than xiaomi claims and it has on-screen buttons meaning you lose some real estate (who cares about aspect ratio; that doesn't solve the problem). The screen to body ratio mostly looks so high because the phone is massive; in absolute terms the bezels aren't that special. The removed top bezel is a sacrifice, front cam location is awkward and it remains to be seen how well the proximity sensor and top speaker work; they're unproven technology. This phone is "interesting" I'll grant that, but you won't find me ever using it.
