Indeed Power of camera depends largely on the lense not sensor and not megapixil. The megapixil is like a gimmicks. A 12 megapixil camera may have clearer pics and videos than a 20 megapixil camera. It is the company and the brand that produces quality lenses.

    Look at this flagship from the company.

    It is a "flagship". (I mean the Mi Mix.)
    But they used only OV16880 camera sensor which is gonna act terrible.

    Instead they could use IMX 398 or IMX 378 like in Oppo R9s or Pixel Phones.

    This is kinda preventing me from buying this phone.

In fact I think miui is great and I love that xiaomi supports even 4 year old phones, continuing to update them. While xiaomi phones don't have the best camera software, they're not bad and can still compete with flagships quite well. I guess you didn't understand the point of my comment. I myself use xiaomi redmi note 3 and I think the camera is great, especially for the price. Don't expect a 700$ priced flagship camera on a 150$ device.

        Exactly like u said, camera is so bad for xiaomi phone, I'm using redmi note 3.
        16mp camera is so bad even compare to 8mp.

        Xiaomi is shit with camera and buggy miui.

But come on using the same concept doesnt mean its a copycat. is a phone with a camera a copycat from the first phone with a camera? is every touchscreen phone nowadays a copycat from the first touchscreen phone? sorry i cant really explain things really well but you get my point.

SHARP made Aquos Crystal series which is only available in Japan. So, what made them so different? Xiaomi bought Sharp technology. They are not original. I pity the Japanese brands sometimes. Even Sony camera sensors are praised only when it is inside another brand. This lack of awareness of Japan great technology is devastating. Just wait until Japan attack you all with giant mecha.

                  I don't know why everyone says that the MI Mix is 'original', it's not like borderless displays haven't been put on phones before. I think the Sharp Aquos Crystal did it back in 2014, and Sharp made other phones with bezelless displays. Just get it through your head, guys; Xiaomi is just a copycat, and nothing else!
