So the battery life is not halved anymore, it is now slightly reduced, On alot of the shenzen phones, this is around 80-90% of full battery lifetime, as opposed to 50%

I don`t agree with you about the need of big battery.

I have Dual sim phone - Gigabyte S1205 >>> standby mode can last one week. In high use and talking 3 days... so if the software and the interface is done correct, dual sim is really a big advantage.

Dual SIM = Half battery life.
We know smart phones need more battery even with single SIM.
So you can imagine what battery life we would get with this phone featuring Dual SIM. But its good innovation. Generally Dual SIM smart phones are rare.

[deleted post]Good luck relying all of your multimedia on a closed-system program that does an archaic system of syncing files. As for us, we can conveniently drag and drop, play more files than what your phone can do as well.

Was waiting for Dual SIM Android mobile for long time, though the same coming from HTC/Samsung would have been more better. Will it be available in Asia?

Umm, that is a smart move with Dual Sim combining with decent specs and Froyo with a name like Gigabyte, big hand to them. These dual sim devices are very needed in developing countries and specially for people who have to carry 2 phones. Get the price right and launch it nearby...
