The biggest failure ever.
Be sure that more and more countries will follow soon, since the IMEI very hard to change and this is ultimately the best way to make ppl return their Fail 7

Until Samsung release another Note (maybe Note 8) then I shall return Note 7.

Anonymous, 05 Nov 2016Why don't people having a Note7 just not change it for a S7... moreBecause S7 does not have the new innovative grenade feature.

AnonD-548804, 05 Nov 2016Because it's shit and not comparable to note 7So adding a S Pen to a crap phone automatically makes it good?

Maybe you'll think iPhone is best if it had a S pen.

aatif khan, 05 Nov 2016This is exactly as I had guessed it when decision to discon... morethey could root and flash new IMEI on it like those china clone handphone.. which will make those note 7 usable again

                First recall-only a few returned.

Second and last recall- some are returned.

Software update to limit charging-more returned.

Airport bane and more law regulation-almost 70% returned.

Software update with annoying messages telling you to return the phone- hmm...not that many returned....ignored the message

Exchange program with very reasonable offers and refunds- finally seeing more people coming in to return it.

Disconnected from mobile networks-Hell yeah! Most will definitely return.

                Next step:
Global law established to give penalty to people still owning Note7 illegally-100% returned.

You people better return that device! No keeping as collector items or whatsoever allowed!

Anonymous, 05 Nov 2016Why don't people having a Note7 just not change it for a S7... moreLol are you simple-minded? Dont you know why people are not returning their phone? Lol this is because Note 7 is still worth 800$ for samsung, and even 1 year later it will have 800$ value. They are keeping note 7, so later they can exchange it for s8 or even note 8. Don't u understand this simple trick? seariously... who would miss this chance?

Maybe samsung should send their entire stock of note7's to apple as payment for their court case, and sit back and laugh as the apple HQ explodes

There are some people out there that think this will become a collector item so they will never return it. They think it will fetch a good buck in the future. The government should make it a crime to keep one so those crazy people will be forced to return it.

Why don't people having a Note7 just not change it for a S7 edge. It's nearly the same but just more rounded design and no S-Pen

they could have done this in the first place..instead of that stupid software update most people dont bother to do...now people will just come to the customer care to rage about their brand new phone not workiing..and voila exchanges done in a week...

Don't return it, use it as a hand grenade.

This is exactly as I had guessed it when decision to discontinue the handset was taken.

IMEI protocol over the air shall be used and all the handsets unreturned shall be made useless.

And yes in case if someone feels he/she owns a working unevr, then be sure it's not the original one.

chris, 05 Nov 2016this is not right at all!!How is not right? Samsung do not want you using it under any circumstance, they have recalled the product & discontinued it. Also, there is an exchange program as well.

Its not as if Samsung are taking the phone away & not leaving you with any alternative.
