jh, 05 Nov 2016wtf..and what about the droid turbo Droid turbo doesn't have anything special to offer does it?

BlackBerry priv has a universal inbox that integrates more than a dozen email, texting, call logging, instant messaging, calendar notification and social media notifications into one. Complete with hub custom views and widgets giving instant access to those custom views. Ontop of that it has a shortcut launcher that allows users to perform tasks within apps after only a single touch, best in class virtual keyboard, best android security and an expandable viewing area thanks to the capacitive keyboard that doubles as a trackpad, allows for shortcuts of its own and has qwerty navigation. Priv is in a class of its own.

        Finally!

The official download page still says the ancient AAF055 is the one for verizon though

So most likely just an alfa or beta, but at the least it is on its way then...

SHAME on you VERIZON! I got a divorce from you 6 months ago because you failed to live up to your promises. VERIZON staff (in retail stores) were never trained on the Priv, many never even heard of it or touched it, and worse yet they didn't know it was on display in their own store!!!

I bought mine when VERIZON was the last to release it. You promised me Marshmallow "soon". A year later is not soon. Making me and all your loyal Blackberry customers wait A YEAR, forcing us to use the least secure Blackberry device ever should have caused other loyal customers like me to divorce you as well. But they stayed, they stayed blindly while hoping, while waiting, while complaining, risking their privacy and privilege... for what? This half baked, half release of last year's software and long over due security updates???

To you few who will actually read this...Don't walk away from Verizon... RUN!!!! And never look back. THIS is how you will always be treated by VERIZON. They simply don't care about Blackberry or you, their loyal customers. Think with your heads and vote with your wallets people!

Sent from my Blackberry Priv on T-Mobile...on Marshmallow and current Blackberry updates for at least the past 8 months now. unlimited calls, unlimited text, AND unlimited 4G data for less than Big Red was charging me for lesser service!

Give T mobile another look. They've grown up and their customer service is actually human!!! In my area, their coverage is almost equal to AT&T and better than VERIZON in many areas, plus Wifi calling is included!

          Best Divorce I ever had!

Good luck with your stale update. Your Priv will never see Android N and you will always be months behind on security updates from Blackberry.
