anyone had to admit nothing can replace note 7 as of now at least s pen with ip68. if u put holding note 7 = holding bomb u are stupid. since almost any car with air bag are having same potential or greater danger or worst that not only "burn" but threaten to your life.

.alpha, 07 Nov 2016The idiots still holding on to these bombs will try to root... moreBomb being an explosive device that causes massive damage...like a grenade, but much larger. I dont recall ANY note 7s causing massive explosive damage. Fire, maybe....but if you can't figure out your phone is getting that hot before flames incur, then you are not necessarily a step up in the common sense chain. Batteries do not catch fire without heat....nothing does. So before you start calling people idiots...or any names for that matter...get some common sense...do some thinking of your own. Unless you truly are a sheep, then by all means, feel free to follow the masses. Do what they tell you to. Live the way they tell you to. And die the way they tell you to.

The idiots still holding on to these bombs will try to root it and load custom ROMs making it even more dangerous.

viveksubhash, 07 Nov 2016i have to agree that personal and public safety should take... moreI very nearly got a Note 7 instead of my 7+ but I seen what happened with the Note & opted for the 7+ instead. From what I seen of the Note 7 it was a very impressive handset & I was happy to make the iOS to Android switch (my G5 is my work phone that I chose) & it was the only Android flagship here in the UK that I would of swapped to. Second with of been another two handsets that are not destined for the UK anytime soon & that is the Moto Z & the LG V20.

SJM32, 07 Nov 2016Yes, it is odd that there are no words of anyone elses Note... morei have to agree that personal and public safety should take priority over fandom...there is absolutely no reasoning..even if it is monetary profit that justifies keeping a note 7 now..those people whould be reported as holding a dangerous weapon...those things aside..the note was a legendary device..even when ppl found fault with galaxy phones..the notes were usually praised, ad they usually keep their speed even after one or 2 generations...problem is the next note may not come out smoothy if idiots keep onto their note7 and prolong the retreival programme

in my country you cant refund note 7 but forced to pick another crappy samsung with accessories so they wont loss money. samsung only prioritize US,korea,Australia, canada and europe but not in asia! i wont buy samsung anymore!!! i got s7 in exchange of note 7 but its hard selling it because of this crappy note 7 even saw a youtube video wherein samsung battery explode with just cut from knife compared to LG battery with more than 3 holes but not exploding. crappy battery samsung! note 7 lags in facebook

Anonymous, 07 Nov 2016I would agree with the first sentence stating the Note7 as ... moreYes, it is odd that there are no words of anyone elses Note 7 going up in flames but this could be the result of how many have gone back to Samsung & how many are being used right now.

I love my 7+ & I am growing to like my G5 but if there was a worldwide recall I would send them back, if I couldnt get what I wanted then I would have no choice but to go for something different. A phone is not worth the risk of my home, car or family.

SJM32, 07 Nov 2016Reading the comments of the Sammy Fan Boys is laughable!! Y... moreI would agree with the first sentence stating the Note7 as the best phone (ignoring the recall). But because of the recall people will have to settle for a alternative. Keeping a potentially dangerous phone is wrong, however I find it suspect that since being discontinued, there's been no fire reports. Coupled with no cause being found by Samsung despite months of testing (the cases which were reported constitute 0.1% of units sold), something seems off.

'Ohhhh, the Note 7 is the best phone ever & there is nothing to replace it, I will stay with this potential hazard until the Note 8 comes out as this will be the only phone that will replace it.'
2 things wrong with that.....1, if anything gets damaged because you insisted on keeping your Note 7 then you will be liable for the damages it may cause & the lives you could put at danger. 2, Samsung have not said they will release another Note handset so you will be waiting a long time.

I live in Dubai and my Note 7 is with Samsung service centre as the device is faulty and my refund is pending neither they wont return my phone. Worst worst customer service by Samsung.
