AnonD-289575, 07 Nov 2016http://fortune.com/2016/10/27/samsung-galaxy-note-7-fire-ca... more"The executive, Kim Hong-gyeong, said “weakness” in some batteries for Note 7 had been confirmed, adding that the exact cause of the Note 7 issue is being analyzed.

Samsung SDI later said in a statement that Samsung Electronics would announce the results of the probe, without giving a timeframe."

If you don't find the exact cause to the problem, you really can't trust them, can you? Saying there was "weakness" in some batteries, does it make things clear to you? One should expect to have detailed information about the cause, considering they already said once they had found the problem and then proceded selling the product again just to find eventually that their Notes 7 continued exploding.
Besides, I would only trust an external laboratory with reputation, Samsung tried once and they failed.
Don't ever have an arrogant attitude. Your link doesn't really prove they found the problem. If you're content with them saying it was "weak batteries" you really are a fool.

Siri, Cortana and Alexa all from different platform. So many voices in smartphones these day. One day our smartphone will talk to us like human.

Samsung's next flagship Galaxy S entry won't just ship with an AI-powered digital assistant, it may have a physical button dedicated to accessing the assistant, reports the Wall Street Journal. The company is reportedly considering the button and has included it in the latest S8 prototype.

With the current prototype, a button exists on the "side edge of the smartphone" and will be used to "launch a beefed-up virtual assistant."

The S8 may come a bit later than usual, as the same report claims the handset isn't going to be unveiled until April. Even if that date changes, it seems unlikely the phone will be present at Mobile World Congress.

Does it inform you when the battery is about to burst into flames?

Okay, it sounds good. So well done and keep it up to Samsung. BUT, that's just an appetizer, and its not a joke. Because this year to come, Samsung must work much much harder than ever before. (Just in brief), 1, to regain trust after the unfortunately fiasco of the Note 7. 2, obviously, the up coming competition of the G6, HTC 11 and so on. & 3, because the bar is already so high, with excellent flagships such as the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design & Xiaomi Mi Mix, etc. Plus the bargain flagship like phones such the OnePlus 3/T & ZTE Axon 7 (next year probably 4 & 8 respectively ). So Samsung with the S8, or they must find a way the overcome all these very high obstacles, or they will start the gradual downfall! So this year I'm waiting for nothing less than a true outstanding Galaxy S8, or i will never gonna support them again, & switch to one of the other brands
