New MacBook Pro faces Thunderbolt 3 connectivity issues

I got windows 10 with an Asus notebook when 10 was first available, which has been what...18 months now? Not one time has the system crashed, frozen or locked up. Not once.
This has more to do with Apple controlling the entire ecosystem and that you have a very limited number of hardware devices and software packages when compared to windows hardware AND software package options than it does the OS. People can't do as many "stupid" things with Macs because the ecosystem is more locked down.
This applies to the iphones as well. People would complain about their Android phones slowing down and then I'd show them all the apps they had installed which were running in the background and shut them down and look at that, the phone didn't run slow any more.
Point is Apple prevents the average user from doing stupid things with technology.

When people ask for something reliable, I'd recommend an Apple over a pc anyday of the week. And I've never owned a mac and probably never will. I never have to deal with apple customer problems, I can count the amount of apple complaints with my hands. Windows complaints... I expect at least one every single day. Windows hasn't been reliable since Windows 7, if you saw the amount of returns that come back you'd realise, it's hardly ever the hardware that's at fault... It's the windows software. #realtalk

Apple now has 17 different types of connectors. SEVENTEEN! And none of them are remotely cheap or of decent build quality.

Just like a bad tooth, best pull it out fast and all then living with the pain. You get one time complain.. then complete peace and quiet.
Only problem here.. Apple should also pull out the headphone jack or add a lightning port.. Foolish consideration

I remember the days of VGA / DVI displa... moreHow you properly manage tech change is not by completely dropping legacy support, you slowly and generationally change it as more products support the new tech. A fast cut off, causes this BS, as not enough products have began support, therefore the reliance on adapters, dongles, etc. It is a poor design choice for the present time, plain and simple.

We have to migrate out of normal USB.. and change all the accessories. It gonna take time.

Typical Apple situation... As I read in an earlier post, pay way to much and get screwed with capital S for every penny you paid. Truth, Apple ha descent laptops but it's certainly not worth the money you're asked. You know what's worse? We are the stupid fools who keep on paying whatever Apple asks. Stop doing that and problem solved...

It doesn't look good with all the much needed adapters plugged... That's a mistake from a design standpoint, let alone usability... Their older models have a more realistic approach, such as the current (2014) Mac Mini, with 4 USB.

Just buy a new cable on amazon for € 10 if you just bought a Laptop for about € 1500.

WORST macbook n laptop of all time... Freakishly OVERPRICED ... APPLE we know usb typeC is the future so i will buy this in future because i am living in present and i need SDcard reader, usb 3.0 , HDMI , thunderbolt and i don't need this stupid usb type C right now... On top of that they removed the Magsafe which is the only thing unique about Macbook

I didn't understand most of the thing here but i guess the whole idea is that apple is "innovating" new ideas to sell more and more costly adapters, let it be a cellphone or laptop. Good luck buyers.
