And there aren't many smaller affordable flagships around. If the phone turns out to be as expected, I'm going with the Honor 8.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2016lcd is better than amoled.LCD is most definitely not better than AMOLED, and the current state of the smartphone market proves it. I mean, when Apple has to admit your technology is better than theirs, you know that your technology is really better than theirs.
LCD is also a non-starter for VR, since AMOLED displays are a requirement to get Daydream VR-certified. Daydream is the only real VR game in town right now unless you buy one of Samsung's flagships.

If it has a QHD display and bigger battery it'll be the phone OP should have made in the first place. If not, there's literally no point to this phone.

I'd like to see a 6" OP-device, definitely would get that as my next phone. Could even be bigger, if the design was wise (as in Sharps and Mi Mix's style). :) Also improve the DAC.

It will probably be the Oneplus 3T, but I'd love to see a new ~5" oneplus. Use a modern chipset, design the body similar to the Oneplus 3 and I'd pay the same price as a OP3 for one right away. I honestly wouldn't care if the battery was only 2200-2600mah.

well, for 80$ extra, they should add 128GB of storage and a bigger battery (biggest fail on One+3).
i don't see how SD821 and a new camera module would justify the price jump over SD820 version of One+3.
shouldn't new SoC and camera modul accutally be a same price like old SoC and old Camera was at time of releasing of "old" model!?

(unless they fix their security, performance, resource management, file system, battery drain, and they upgrade the user interface and get rid of those useless icons; Windows tiles are the shizz)
