They didn't lie, the stock can be viewed in the app, but if you can't see on second 1, you never know the actual number. In the Mi2s days, every flash sale has about 1000 item in stock.

I think they are just shifting stocks around so to minimize overstock they release bit by bit hence it's always sold out.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2016Was interested until the poor camera reviews on youtubeThe Mi Note 2 is doing very well for 21mp, the best 20+mp I have seen. My issue is no dedicated HiFi DAC. The LG V20 is one of the few that has one and it uses the same DAC as my Mi Note. Also OLED really needs 2K minimum because the pixel matrix makes it a lot less sharp compared to LCD, even 2K OLED is noticeably less sharp than 1080p LCD.

hundred thousand per batch but it is extremely hard to get one with more than half million still on pending. not included yet the others non register and world wide.
don't expect anytime soon, cause at china, not even enough for the local people.

How many was sold in 1 min, 50 phones? Why you are not writing how many? Too much noise about this phone, and sold out in 1 min.....also, camera is not good as S7, check youtube reviews
