All I wanted is for vivo to enter the western market, it's not like I wnat a phone with 10000 mAh battery that has weight of 150 gram with 40 mpx dual camera, 8k display.

"Why are you westerner so desperate wanting an asian phone?" - I can only speak for myself, and first of all I'm not desperate, far from it. And if you would spend 1 minute reading and understaning my first post, you would know exactly why. I'm a huge music lover and I care for the AUDIO components inside of vivo phones. Sure there's an option to get an external dac/amp, but that makes your portable device less portable with stuff sticking out of it, and secondly Android is not so well optimised for OTG audio support either. It's always a hit or miss with pairing these devices.
"Dont your country have any branded phone?"- My country doesn't make phones, not that I know of. Oh wait there's one midranger made in China, you guess... ;)

China doesnt care about copy rights, by entering western markets Vivo would have to respect those rules. And when you are restricted of certain things, have limits, THEN you get most creative. Like with many wonderful inventions of this world they were made out of neccesity.
I'm not going to reply any further as I don't find you as a worthwile conversation companion, I'm not trying to offend you, but your point of view is simply so far north, that it just is not worth it. Have a good day.

All's good, but how about Vivo actually updating any of their phones for a change? No Vivo phone I know of got an Android version upgrade....I mean, these phones have Snapdragon chips, so it's not like they are not getting the sources anyway.
BTW, no one designs a phone for Asian markets only with SD, because Asian markets are cost-sensitive and it makes a lot more sense to develop devices with MTK or Kirin/Spreadtrum chipsets compared to Snapdragon or Exynos. That's why Oppo has several versions of it's phones, with many Chinese versions sporting MTK chipsets instead of Qualcomm in the international versions.
So, if Vivo is releasing a mid/high-end phone with Snapdragon, it means they intend to sell it internationally....so I wouldn't say "not designed for western markets".

And going back to topic, they woul've gain a lot by entering the western market, you are too blind to see that. It's not only about earning money, it's about competition with other industry leaders, which is always good for consumer, that includes YOU as well. So go get a cold hat and chill down before you post another dumb comment like that.

If only vivou would create an android based dap ( audio player ) with something like 2500-3000 mAh, that would be awesome. They pack some of the best audiophile mobile circuits available on the market into their devices, so that's why we people over at headfi drool on their phones. But the high pricing, lack of real westen support is not helping vivo get more customers in the west. They should enter the global market, like for real. And adjust their prices.

Is THAT the only "innovation" we have these days?
What about those supposedly super endurance batteries that last 2 weeks on on a single charge or those batteries that recharge in 1 minute? Oh well, it looks like I'm gonna spend another year with my old (2014) and sensible flagship phone.
You know the one WITH user-replaceable batteries, WITH IR-blaster, WITH user-expandable storage capacity... and WITH the LTE-bands that I can use in my country :-(
Android as an OS is starting to suck in tandem with the dull accompanying hardware.
Can someone point me to the next "big thing", please!
