xcopper, 19 Dec 2010Bad worksmen blame their tools. Clearly your remark about... moreI have to put up with an idiot like this at work too. In fact, its so bad that I'm considering quitting an otherwise awesome job just coz I'm tired of putting up with the BS this guy spews.

sea-breeze, 19 Dec 2010i don't know what the fuss about android alots of here and... moreBad worksmen blame their tools.
Clearly your remark about bad organization shows your exposure to the platform is near null. I ran into people like you at my previous job all the time, your kind causes all kinds of ID10T errors and then blame the platform keeping the false sense of smartness and superiority hiding your idiocracies.
Androids marvel for you can be the bare stat from Gartner's last research poll showing the second largest smartphone market chunk held by Android @ 25% and all that share grabbed in the shortest period starting 2008 Q4 (only 2 years)

[deleted post]Ok first thing first
The news is about Samsung i9000 and I said in ur face SE... So what Nokia has to do with any of this
But for your information I'm SE die hard fan i was so mad when SE announced that SE Xperia X10 family won't get Arabic Language support when the 2.1 is coming out and I contact them again when I heard about the upcoming update 2.2 or 2.3 and I asked if the Xperia family will get Arabic Support they didn,t confirm or denay but they say it's unlikely for that to happen
All the other brands such as HTC Samsung & LG release Android phones n Middle east with Arabic support except SE
I would love to know why

They could sell these UIs from the AMarket, and that UIs musn't be so deeply intergrated with the code! And if they have just native Android that will increase the performance and decrease the price of those phones!!! :)

Guys beware! I've heard that the Gingerbread update no longer allows custom UIs for manufacturers to differentiate their devices from the others software wise. It simply means that we may have different hardware designs/appearance for our smartphones but once we turn on our gadgets, everything would be exactly the same. Would you like that?..the Gingerbread update would address solution on Apple CEO Steve Job's concern on Android OS fragmentation issues.
I'm an SGS owner running the current Froyo 2.2 update. I just do wish the Gingerbread update would still make our devices competitive from other Android based manufacturers, because if not, exactly similar softwares must then make the devices similar price-wise too.

With the nexus s being soooo expensive 3 of my mates are joining me in getting SGS instead of nexus S.I already have SGS but they got desires making me odd one out.Instead of forking out for nexuS they can get SGS with super AMOLED decent camera+720p video etc, etc,.
I hope the SGS DOES NOT RUN OUT AS SALES SHOULD INCREASE DUE TO SGS being the far superior SMARTPHONE or should that be SUPERPHONE.
I love my SGS more and more i dont know about my 3 mates but o2 tommorow best have PLENTY OF SGS in stock.

jjsoviet, 19 Dec 2010At least we're evolving and oh, source code released from G... moreBut Apple release their code to Devs, which is why apps were being updated for iOS 4 before it was released.
The Galaxy has to be the phone of the year. The screen is amazing, and the phone is so fast.
Alas, poor Symbian.
