No wonder all the buzz is ... moreStill... many mirrorless cameras can't beat battery life vs DSLR cameras, for outdoor work this is important. Just use the optical viewfinder which is more accurate and saves battery instead having the LCD screen on all the time and electronic viewfinders are not battery friendly.

              I have D5500 and it's a great mid-range camera, still needs some improvements on auto focus while in live view but overall it's really great, for stills. How bout video? Na ah.
              If there are some improvements on this D5600, it should be on the video recording. Maybe adds 4K video and (PLEASE) allow us to change aperture in live view OMG i'm so pissed and couldn't f*cking understand this little thing on nikon camera, oh and bluetooth, D5500 doesn't have bluetooth built in so i have to stick using WMU which is suck, that's it, thank you

                So, no major improvements over the D5500. I personally went for the non-touch D5300 instead a couple of months back though, as I do not like touch screen panel on a DSLR. It's doing great for now and I do not plan to upgrade it anytime soon in the near future.

                By the way, people here at my place use this series as a semi-pro shooter as it indeed is a very capable camera which produces pro-like images.
