Standalone Apple Support app is launching for iOS

11 November 2016
Apple is currently rolling out a new app for iOS devices. It's called Apple Support and should be available soon in all countries through the App Store. For now, it only shows up in the store for the Netherlands, but that's clearly just a temporary thing. The rollout to other territories might be taking a few days though.

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2016But it's easier to beat their pricing.... Get lost crapple ... morePrice is irrelevant for what you get. Its worth it. Oh and some people can actually afford to buy Apple products and thus are not limited by the prices. On the other hand, there are those who cannot afford them so they post negative comments while not realizing how silly they appear.

This sounds good. A useful app that might come in handy unless you crack your screen. In that case, most of the times the touch stops working! -.-

I do like the freedom but I have used iOS for so long that you get used to it & find ways around certain tasks that should be a lot easier.

Being on iOS for nearly 7 years I do not care that much for customisation & widgets but I can see why are the opposite to me though, if that makes sense.

I will wait for this app to come to the UK & if I like it & find it useful I will keep it as the nearest Apple store to me is 2 hours away!

I too, am a simultaneous Android Marshmallow and iOS 10 user. In fact the reason i checked this story was to see if i could use this feature / app

And similiar to you (but diametrically opposite as well) iOS' walled garden prevents me from using the iPhone as a daily driver

You choose a phone based on what works for you & what you want. [deleted post]Impossible to get viruses in android :) only if exploit/vulnerability is found and that guy instead of reporting to guy, goes and uses that for some evil stuff, then yeah, its bad. But as there were stagefright, root vulnerability, i was not affected by this bug :) and instead, google releases security patvhes every month so i am just fine :)
