Another game u shld know is Pokemon.Official Pokemon games have been exclusive to Nintendo consoles, Sun and Moon being the latest.

Nintendo once again shoots their own foot.
The lead of the controls are 70cm long, which is a fail!!!!! you have to played glued at the tv which doesn't make sense at all! They should have been bluetooth controllers, or at leads with leads 2meters long.

After 2 hrs of playing, you'll keep in storage never to see the light of day again. What a waste. You could have just downloaded an emulator.

But do you really believe that a 2016 version of Tir-Na-Nog or manic Miner would sell?
We do have grown accustomed to a bit more since then. And yes, some of us, old buggers whom started on a ZX Spectrum, still play games. And I must confess playing e.g. Sky Break (a modern indie game) plays just that tiny bit better than "knight lore" (while it basically is the same concept).

Days long gone.
Good games are timeless frankly. It's not about keeping up with graphics, it's their content that's there and won't fade in the fun. Hope more and more developers understand that THIS is why the old 8 bit games were loved, it's not just the looks, it's way more of it's content than anything. That's why Mario still sells, just up the graphics, new levels, but keep the soul intact, it keeps fun.

Problem is the price, it's completely overpriced for our currency

My son laughs at the NES games, whips out his iPhone and gives me the thumbs down. It's just nostalgia for most of us.

Just because they arent the state of the art soulless games dosent mean they should stay in the past.
Just remember that the games in the past paved the way for games of today.

many adults grew up playing those games, and they are still fun to be played, it won't be sold out if everybody having similar opinion as you
games nowadays too emphasis on graphic and not much on fun and playability
