Spotify has been writing several terabytes of data to your computer’s hard drive for months

According to a report by Ars Technica, Spotify has been reportedly been writing huge amount of junk data to your computer’s storage for almost five months now.

        I noticed it doing this year's ago when Spotify became available. I found it suspicious and never used it on my PC ever again. It is crazy that they are still doing it and apparently have it fixed now.
        I bet they spy on users for whatever reasons. Data mining is the new Gold!

            The solution can be found just a google away. I've previously set up Spotify to have a cap of 1 GB for the cached data.

                    I'm using oppo neo 7 since 20 days there is a pop up everytime as to clear memory not using SD card in spite of cleaning memory regularly I get this pop up can anyone suggest

                                  I used to use Spotify, than stopped. Now I use Googe Music without subscription. Benefit of Google Music is, you don't have to keep your music in the phone (internal storage or microSD). Create playlists, upload music in to them & you can listen to or download them from any other device. So, if you get a new phone, just install Google Music & download your playlist (or listen to them without downloading, if you have unlimited internet). (You cannot add music from google library unless you are subscribed. And if you subscribe, add music to your playlist & than unsubscribe... those music will vanish)
