You can now use Skype even if you don't have an account

14 November 2016
Microsoft has announced that it's no longer necessary for you to have a Skype or Microsoft account in order to use Skype. Starting today, anyone can use the messaging service without the need to sign in first. This works if you go to Skype.com and use Skype for Web. You just choose Start a conversation when you're on the website, and add your name. You'll then get a unique conversation link which you can send to other people - once they click on it they'll join your Skype chat.

- I'm just curious in one example of possible misuse, as I can't imagine a single one.
If anyone supplies it, do me a small favor by sending it to my email w381@yahoo.ca

In the other hand, providing my implication means that misuses are negligeble, if any...
SKYPE is opening what is missing for long.... enabling people to communicate more freely.
So, BRAVO SKYPE, even if this is a kind of promotion only.

thanks

Skype's competitive reaction to Discord's browser version. I still prefer Discord on its light usage of resources, even if we compare usage resources on their regular desktop version app
