Beats (Apple) releases new ad for Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones with W1 chip

Apple’s new W1 chip with its own wireless technology made its debut at the last iPhone announcement in September. Apple’s W1 chip is designed to sync effortlessly across all the Apple devices on your Apple ID while also featuring a more efficient, higher-quality audio connection than Bluetooth.

    Am a Bose man myself, (I know that is subjective), but the QC series are outstanding if you enjoy a balanced warm sound, which I do. Plus you get noise reduction.

The build quality is really cheap for the price (check out AKG K553 Pro if you want to see how good build quality looks like). The on-ear design is IMO uncomfortable, but that is my personal opinion. The highs are are unrefined and unclear. The mids are decent compared to Sony, Philips, JBL etc., but can't hold up against any pair from a decent manufacturer like AKG, Sennheiser, Beyer, Audio-Technica etc. The soundstage is pretty bad. Now, about the bass I can only say one thing: no. Just no. It is without a doubt the worst thing about this already overpriced lackluster pair. The bass is horribly out of tune and it sounds like someone messed with the eq panel with the sole intention of ruining the sound as much as humanely possible. In fact the bass is so bad, I couldn't recommend the Solo3 regardless of their price. Even if they cost $50, I would still not recommend them to anyone (Audio-Technica ATH-T500 is my recommendation at that price range, if anyone is wondering). Just do your ears a favour and get a pair of decent cans instead of this.
